July 4th 1776 became famous because of a small percentage of very determined Patriots. It was the rebels who could not live under tyranny stepping up while those who were weak sat back to see what would come from it.

Long festering anger over injustices drove the strong to revolt because they knew the time had come and no one was going to do it for them.

It was their time, their duty.

They did not fight for a Constitution. They had none. They had no nation, no united government and no idea what a win would bring them. They rose up to pursue a dream, no matter what it took.

The few willing to act were immediately criminal for acting.

Every one of our Founders were criminals.

Revolution cannot occur without treason because bad governments make laws to protect their power.

Break those laws even on the side of justice and you are declared a criminal. Unite to do it with others and you are in insurrection, and that is treason.

Even when it is moral and justifiable.

Because tyrants and governments that seize power they have no right to protect themselves with bad laws.

They make laws they ignore at will while being quick to enforce all law against citizens.

Our Founders decided they would be the ones making the rules. They decided right and wrong matter and the leadership they had could not be fixed.

That took guts. REAL guts.

A relatively small group of citizens decided any government who would not listen and lead with the best interests of the People in mind could get the hell out.

They stated their demands, the demands were ignored so they threw the bad government out. They did not care what it took to do it. They risked their wealth, their businesses, lives and every comfort because right and wrong mattered.

People without complex thoughts of history and governments knew the difference between right and wrong so they joined and they fought.

They starved, froze, marched and fought because the common man can dream too.

We celebrate today because they won.

They followed up by creating our Constitutional Republic which is still the greatest form of government devised by man and blessed by God.

Then they warned us to beware of political parties because they seek to serve themselves. They warned us 2 parties could become entrenched by making laws protecting themselves then they could break laws, grow rich and ignore our demands. While taxing us to pay for them taking power they are never supposed to get.

Today we celebrate what they did.
