I keep hearing liberals and conservatives talk about American principles and our Constitution; do they know what any of it means? It sure doesn’t look like it.
The most basic founding principle was self government. A government of officials selected from our best and brightest who served then went back to private industry to live with the effects of what they did while in office. This meant our officials were routinely cycled out as new faces with proven experience stepped forward to take their places. Our first few Presidents were Generals with experience in business and agriculture, more farmers and experienced businessmen followed. Completing their terms they went back to work, they didn’t remain as activists getting wealthy from speeches and influencing donors.
The prevalent American traits were strength and defiance; no one dared challenge our principle of self-government because citizens would never stand for it. Why do they now if they still support our founding principles? Do they lack the basic traits of strength and defiance? If so, they are subjugated or in surrender.
The entire purpose in establishing America was to develop government of the people, by the people. There was great pride in blocking the pathways to growing a political class. Everyone in America knew and agreed takeover by professional politicians is destructive, so our Constitution was written to protect our rights to remove any and all of them at any time. Parties were despised and not to be trusted. They had a history of trying to take over governments and if we were to put the People first, they had to be able to keep replacing the parties. This is why our Founders never mentioned parties even once in our Constitution and protections were guaranteed for us, not them.
Parties lead to party power and to keep it they must incubate and preserve professional politicians. Everything about that system defies basic American principles, the intent of our Constitution and the possibility of government of the People, by the People. You cannot have government of powerful entrenched parties and have a constitutional America. You cannot have government of professional politicians and have constitutional government as our founders intended and then created.
Anyone who tells you they honor our Founders and basic principles yet willingly perpetuates the two entrenched parties we have today is either ignorant or lying. You cannot do both, the ideals are diametrically opposed. The parties nurture and advance professional politicians and this removes our ability to elevate our best and brightest to positions of power where they can serve then return to private industry as intended. Instead of our best and brightest, we get those whose only skills are getting the parties and donors to back their rise to power. This is why we have government of incompetent fools, liars and frauds. This is why government serves itself while ruining our lives, businesses and futures. This is why our Constitution is ignored, citizens vote for those who can only advance by ignoring it.
Then along comes Trump, a citizen businessman who comes in at war with the parties who resent him challenging their power to choose our leaders. The parties have made their choices, who are the American people to interfere? One of our best and brightest, well known to the public with no hidden secrets in his past or mysteries surrounding his birth or family history. A rare man who can finance his own challenge to out of control parties and they hate him for it. A man who is honest with the People and does not lie or use dirty campaign tricks to advance, he tells people what he will do and it is what the People want. And the liberals and conservatives hate him for it because it challenges the party powers they love which a constitutional America was NEVER supposed to have.
I find much humor in the contradictions of those who oppose him. For years all have complained their professional class politicians say one thing then do another, they never do as promised. Now the liberals and conservatives unite against Trump and what is their reason? The things he says he will do–THEY BELIEVE HE WILL DO EXACTLY AS HE SAYS! And they hate him for that too.
In a perfect world Trump would use his wealth and momentum to establish a new party to destroy the old ones as our Founders repeatedly warned we must do. Conservatives and liberals reject this advice of our Founders, they are all party first, constitutional America second. By starting a new party Trump would draw the Independent swing voters, fed up Democrats and Republicans and millions who have opted out because of the corruption so obvious in the old parties. Unfortunately that is not the case…yet. As it stands he is shaking up the establishment party professionals pretty well anyway.
He is doing very well running as the exact type of candidate our Founders designed our system for. The People feel it and are getting behind him, they are showing their American defiance and that is refreshing. Every vote for Trump is a vote against the establishment candidates the parties think they can shove down our throats. This is as good a reason as any to vote Trump, our Founders would. Not one person can deny Trump personifies our American principle of defiant self-government. Let the detractors howl then help us clobber them. The Liberal/Conservative Coalition to Preserve Party Powers must be defeated. Or, as Trump would say, Its time to knock the hell out of them!
Our First few Presidents were Generals?? Only one was; George Washington. Where does this guy get his history, for comic books?
For “FireforEffect” or is that for defect?
Yes I got my history from comic books and Captain Marvel said Taylor and Jackson were Generals too.
Didn’t Bugs Bunny tell you the same thing Einstein?
Belinda Duras, If you are a Christian then you should know not to judge anyone!!! The only
person who has that right and privilege is
God!!! I am a Christian and I am voting for
Trump!!! Please do not come back with an
insulting remark, that is not Christian either!!!👠
Great article, and right on the money with Trump! Yes he has some personal baggage that both sides like to use against him, but they all do, and his isn’t selling America down the river like theirs is.
