You know, I have seen a LOT of moaning and hand-wringing over Mitt Romney’s and the RNC’s plan to blockade the other GOP candidates from the GOP convention and insert Romney as the GOP nominee this summer. What these people do not seem to realize is that this is probably the best favor the GOP can do for the American public in general, and GOP supporters in particular.

For, now we have the GOP Crony Machine exposing itself in full, gray-flanneled coat glory. By essentially telling GOP voters to f*ck off and that their votes are worthless (but their donations never are), this is only further underscoring the absolute frustration and now, white hot anger, that supporters of both parties are feeling this primary season. The Dems have already been pulling these kind of games for years, with their addiction to a corrupt system of super delegates that has finally that has had it’s curtain ripped away from it and has alienated many a loyal democrat voter.

Just as an addict cannot be treated until they both hit rock bottom and finally admit to themselves that have a problem, the GOP is pretty much doing it for them. And a bigger blessing could not be bestowed upon the American electorate than seeing the political self-immolation of a party that has far outlasted it usefulness and relevance.

I say, let them go forward with this reckless plan. It will make Trump’s going independent not only an easier choice, but will bring in even more votes for him than was previously thought.

Frankly, I am thrilled at this. One more step to the inevitable fall of the Party.
