Readers here may wonder why we at ConPats spend an inordinate amount of time dressing down Right Media, Talk Radio and the GOP leadership. As well as the people who listen to, read and otherwise quote their talking points. Well for one thing, someone has to do it, since there are precious few free-thinking, non-indoctrinated sources of news or analysis out there anymore.

Second, we are most concerned with restoring Constitutional integrity to government, politics and society and one of the greatest obstacles to this is the media. Whether Left or Right, it really does not matter. In the end, they serve the same masters, always with the same results. They may lack integrity, but not a message and have a nearly endless supply of resources to draw upon. However, we have a more powerful resource. The Founder’s wisdom, the Constitution they gifted to us and millions of patriots that yearn for truth over spin, hype and BS.

Now, to the point. If you ever needed an over-the-top, convincing example that the Talk Radio/Right Media Cabal is Party First and Party Only, I present to you, the case of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. AKA AOC. AKA The Wonder Woman of The Talk Radio Carnies.

Starting out as little more than curiousity last summer in the news cycle, Ocasio-Cortez rapidly climbed the ladder of Media Notice as sort of a Little Engine That Could, while running in a long-time staunch Democratic House district. With this media notice, she then started popping up on TV and in newspaper headlines on a level not seen since the last time a Kardashian switched boyfriends.

After embarrassing herself several times during interviews, wherein she seemed to not have a clue about the most basic functions of government, much less what she was actually doing while running for a high-end political office, she endeared herself greatly to both Left and Right Media. The Left Media, because she was exactly the type of person that could take a lot of heat off of the Democrat’s own embarrassing moments (such as the Kavanuagh hearings), while acting as a human political shield for the likes of Pelosi, who had much bigger fish to fry once the Democrats recaptured the House. Think of her as a young, female Joe Biden, who would put her foot in her mouth, on command.

Of course, she appealed to Right Media, since she was their version of a late-night talk show host’s punchline. And therein, lies the seeds of how they exposed themselves.

Instead of just letting the jokes just run their course during the campaign and for the short time until the new Congress was seated and getting on with things, they seemed to develop an obsession with this little woman. To the point that they were using her the same way as the Left Media did. To shield both parties and their utter failures at governance. Which, of course, is the entire point of their existence.

Now, instead of the Right Media focusing on such things like the GOP’s 7-Year Itch of ObamaCare Repeal Lies, the internals of the supposed “Shutdown” and calling for abolition of the departments that were not deemed “needed” enough to staff during the “Shutdown” or demanding an accounting of where the hell one of the Supreme Court justices is, these Talk Radio Carnies and their social media sycophants now just chase their own tail, while stalking this woman. Go on Twitter and you will see easily 50% plus of Right Media stars’ tweets are about Ocasio-Cortez. Even more so since this New Green Deal nonsense came out the other day. They especially embarrassed themselves badly the other day when there was a huge tweet torrent about one line in the bill that was deleted. It was the stuff of first graders going “No, I’m not. You are.” Truly embarrassing to watch.

However, as we at ConPats have been been saying for years, all of this is crafted to take the heat off of the utter failure of the GOP as a party, and especially their failures over the past two years. When they had a majority in the House and Senate, but instead of doing what they were elected to do, did everything in their power to do nothing at all. Aside from, of course, torpedoing Trump at every turn. No wall funding, an ambitious tax rate reduction plan that was cut off at the knees, while also keeping silent while an unconstitutional witch hunt over an imaginary “collusion” with a foreign power threatened to cripple Trump right off the bat. And maybe most of all, offering no support for Trump’s wonderful State of Union address, which captured the very essence of America at it’s best. No, all of this has been lost, buried and instead, the News Drone Radar has been fixed on a pipsqueak House member from NY who no one had heard of eight months ago.

Always remember, when it comes to Right Media, it is not what they say, it is what they will never say. Especially when it comes to being the Strongmen for the GOP. For if they did so, their rasion d’etre would vanish, as would their advertising dollars. Sort of like Barnum or a magician never giving up their secrets. In their minds, just keep following the pea under the shell and all will be OK.

We need more Constitutional Patriots and fewer Herd Followers. And that starts with cutting off the Information IV of Party, called the Media.
