Great news for Trump is always disguised as something else.
Hurricane Family Separation has come and gone, so now we wander the aftermath and assess the damage.
What the heck just happened?
Once again we discover the real lesson is not coming from media of the right or left.
These frenzied situations always follow a pattern and, like it or not, Democrats and their media wing are brilliant masters at creating and managing this style of mayhem. They clearly proved it.
To understand what happened, we need to avoid contemplating details of the fiasco and examine the process used to manage it. This is important because the strategy is well established and will soon be used again. We must recognize it for what it is. Media mayhem.
The first critical takeaway is the most important and should inspire Trump supporters as a signpost of success. That is: In this critical campaign season Democrats are so frustrated and lost their only bright spots come from partisan media acting as the tough brother stepping in to save the day. They paint Trump as the bully then they rally offense to “stop his horrible behavior.” The fact that Trump did not create the mess is conveniently ignored.
Democrats should be ashamed. November is ever closer and they still have no policy strong points to rally on to bring victories. They have to rely on this sort of nonsense. They are saying, “Don’t examine what we offer, just hate Trump enough to vote Democrat.” That is not a good position to be in, but what else have they got?
Thinkers among the voting public are well aware our President has amassed a list of successes revitalizing our economy, national pride and strength as a world leader. The GOP hopes to ride his record to their November victories, though they have been less than loyal partners along the way.
The latest dust up regarding separating incarcerated families of illegals showcased the weakness of GOP fortitude.
As the first orchestrated acts of media mayhem rolled, out many GOP office holders ran for cover. They did not unite presenting truth and fact based opposition
They did not rally behind their own party’s President stating the policy was continued from Obama years. They ran, they hid and then many slithered back to siding with Democrats and demanding action by the President. Ted Cruz came out offering a miraculously produced bill to end the policy. As usual, his stage act and bill went nowhere because he still hasn’t gained Senate friends for support or has the leadership skill to accomplish legislation. In announcing his bill, he failed to defend Trump by using the opportunity to state separation policies were long existing acts instituted by Congress.
Democrats pinned it on Trump and the GOP let them.
GOP media rallied to defend Trump, but who listens to them except for an audience dominated by Trump supporters?
This is not supposed to be how our government works. Laws and policy should be carefully devised after public pressure leads to thorough debate and carefully crafted responses.
Media mayhem forcing knee jerk reactions as spontaneous political solutions is empowering mass media as a 4th branch of government. They won this round on that level.
It is frustrating to see media mayhem work time after time because Dems unite to use it. Republicans could shut it down but they refuse to unite and they lack the courage to fight back. Electing an outspoken fighter as President taught them nothing. Imagine a GOP Congress united with the attitude of Trump. Democrats would think twice before joining these circus acts if the GOP would damage them for doing it instead of joining them, thinking reaching across the aisle will get them reelected.
Abandoning Trump in battles is not going to win November for Republicans. They better learn that soon or their base will not be energized.
For the rest of us, the thing to remember is the original purpose behind media mayhem. The goal has never changed. Media has taken the lead as a 4th branch of government hoping to make America chaotic and unmanageable. Civil unrest is the only situation that can produce enough emotion to impede Trump.
It is our job as citizens to pressure GOP officials and candidates so they know we support fighting back.
We are Americans. We fight for those who fight for us. Stand strong against media mayhem and it becomes nothing but pathetic noise by desperate activists.
We are in a war for our future. Media fueled circuses cannot defeat us as long as we ignore the noise and stand with the President who is keeping promises.
